Visit Upham Beach | St. Pete Beach
Upham Beach is located just a few blocks away from the Historic Corey Avenue. It is one of the only stretches of beach that you will find on St. Pete Beach not located behind a hotel.
There are 4 wooden walkways that will take you from the parking lot to the white sandy shores. It also features several volleyball courts that are open to the public every day of the week. Take a few steps north after arriving at the beach and you will find yourself at a rock jetty and the mouth of Blind Pass, which is a great location for surfing and fishing.
Where is Upham Beach?
Upham beach is the northern most stretch of beach and spans across a four city block section of St. Pete Beach from 67th avenue to 71st avenue. If driving along Gulf Blvd, turn west onto 68th avenue and it will take you right to the white sands of Upham Beach.

Do you have to pay to park at Upham Beach?
Yes and No. This stretch of beach has metered parking that is enforced from 8am until 8pm. It costs $1.25 per hour or $5 for the entire day, but if you come after 8pm, the parking is free. The city of St. Pete Beach also has yearly beach parking passes for sale at City Hall.

Yes, this stretch of beach offers a restroom facility and outdoor showers to rinse off at.
Does Upham Beach have a concession stand?
Yes, the concession stand here is called the Seaside Grille. The Seaside Grille offers delicious breakfast and lunch and is open daily from 8am until 4pm. The Seaside Grille is located right on the beach and offers a beautiful scenery for those looking to enjoy a meal just a few steps from the sand.
